In modern construction, sheet goods (commonly known as plywood) have replaced solid-lumber boards for many projects. Made with small pieces of wood or thin layers pressed and glued together, one advantage is their large size. They can be used as one big, flat board, or cut to any size that’s needed; thus saving vast amounts of time and effort in building any project.
For those woodworkers and cabinet makers, we maintain the area’s largest inventory of cabinet-grade hardwood plywood. Sheets usually come in 4 x 8-foot panels, and whether your project requires just one sheet of ¼-inch Baltic birch, or an entire unit of ¾-inch walnut, we can accommodate your needs. Domestic products are available in a variety of species including white and red oak, cherry, alder, hickory, walnut and birch, just to name a few. All are available in ¼-inch and ¾-inch thicknesses. Imported plywood is available in Birch in unfinished sides or a finished UV costing on one or both sides in common thicknesses, including ¼”, ½”, and ¾”. 5/8” material is also available in birch.
